Engineers day

Engineers day – a day dedicated to those without whom any machine would not have been made, without whom flying would still be a dream, without whom buildings would never touch the sky, the world would still be infinite with no modes of communications between people. a day dedicaed to those who turned magic into reality. life  has become colourful with beautiful innovations and cut through technology. So from mobile phone to airplane , television to satellite , everything has been possible because of engineers. Every day a new technology comes in to take human to the next level making lives simpler, smoother and efficient.

Engineer's Day is observed in several countries on various dates of the year.
In India Engineer's day refers to 15 September every year which is celebrated in memory of Sir Mokshgundam Visvesvaraya. If one has to list some of the most influential engineers from the history of contemporary India, he  would undoubtedly be on the top of the list.  He is held in high regard as a pre-eminent engineer of India. He was the chief designer of the flood protection system for the city of Hyderabad in Telangana, as well as the chief engineer responsible for the construction of the Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mandya.
Engineering is not merely knowing and being knowledgeable, it is not just analysis,  not the mere possession of the capacity to get elegant solutions to non-existent engineering problems but rather,  engineering is practicing the art of organised enforcement of technological change and creating something new and extraordinary.

Engineers, who are the harbinger of development
of any country, always strive for enrichment of their knowledge and skill to upgrade the quality and standard
of life.engineers have to work
from construction of rural roads to manufacturing of spaceships to Mars. Both are equally
important for accelerating the development of the country. There is no end to development and engineering progress. The process of betterment and upgradation from one standard
to the other, from ‘under-developed’ to ‘developing’, or from ‘developing’ to ‘developed’, is a
continuous process, which is led by the engineers after taking into account the prevailing sociopolitico-
economic conditions of the particular country.

so, hereby, on this 147th glorious occasion of our country, we celebrate the art of engineering and its disciples. we are proud to be engineers and hope to raise the bar and take the existing technology to a whole new level.

Civil Build the world, CS/IT create the magic, Mech/Auto move the world, EEE give power to the world, EC/TC connect the world and make it smaller…. Engineers are the true creators.. wishing you all a very happy engineers' day. proud to be an engineer.

Essentials Of Entrepreneurship

This Teacher’s day, we at ABV-IIITM Gwalior campus had a man who was himself a student some years back, but now  due to his extraordinary achievements was fit enough to teach young minds. We are talking about the co-founder VGYAN-BOT, Mr. Siddharth Sood.  Mr. Siddharth had an interactive session with all  the  I year Students and taught the do’s and dont’s of entrepreneurship.Team Uthaan  had an interview with Siddhath...

MR. SIDDHARTH SOOD

Ques.   Having a strong financial background is necessary for a startup?
ANS    “It is helpful to have it, it makes the establishment easier. It catalyses the whole setup of your business model. But it’s not a grave necessity.  Actually it’s not only about money, you also have to look for the correct market to boost your business. Any amount  of money will fail to provide returns if not invested at right time and place. Even i had some problems when to begin with my model. Schools were just not ready to accept the bot culture.
Even if you don’t have enough bucks in your pocket, your creativity and idea can assist you launching your venture. You just have to wait for your golden moment and hit the iron while it is hot”.

Ques. What fuelled you into the race of entrepreneurship “Need for money” or “love for  technology” ?
ANS   “Love for robotics, I even kicked a handsome Salary offer.”

THE INTERVIEW

Ques. What is more important for young budding entrepreneurs, “Development of ideas or polishing their skills”?
ANS.  “ There are different areas of Entrepreneurship, Some provide a service which is already being provided but in a different way, some provide things which never have been heard of before.  So it basically depends upon the type of Entrepreneurship you indulge in. I personally am more interested in development and marketing of new technologies but there are companies which just sell something which is being required by the public at that moment of time.  Some business models are just pawn shops, you tell them your needs and they will provide you assistance in exchange of a handsome amount of money.  The idea of business for many is money driven, it must be the establishment of a company which does a particular work. Get your company name synonymous to that particular task.”

Ques.   Creativity or Money Minded??  What kind of people excel in the field of entrepreneurship???

ANS   “ A perfect blend of both. Even I have a partner who deals with all the monetary issues and i am the creative head of the company.  That does not means that my partner has no taste in creativity or  I don’t have a concern for monetary issues.”

Ques.  Are entrepreneurs made or born?
ANS     “Some of them  are born, but majority are made.  You might  take birth with a taste  in creativity but you must polish yourself in order to be the best.   You will have to study the markets, the needs, the demands and accordingly adjust your strategies.”
