Engineers day

Engineers day – a day dedicated to those without whom any machine would not have been made, without whom flying would still be a dream, without whom buildings would never touch the sky, the world would still be infinite with no modes of communications between people. a day dedicaed to those who turned magic into reality. life  has become colourful with beautiful innovations and cut through technology. So from mobile phone to airplane , television to satellite , everything has been possible because of engineers. Every day a new technology comes in to take human to the next level making lives simpler, smoother and efficient.

Engineer's Day is observed in several countries on various dates of the year.
In India Engineer's day refers to 15 September every year which is celebrated in memory of Sir Mokshgundam Visvesvaraya. If one has to list some of the most influential engineers from the history of contemporary India, he  would undoubtedly be on the top of the list.  He is held in high regard as a pre-eminent engineer of India. He was the chief designer of the flood protection system for the city of Hyderabad in Telangana, as well as the chief engineer responsible for the construction of the Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mandya. 

Engineering is not merely knowing and being knowledgeable, it is not just analysis,  not the mere possession of the capacity to get elegant solutions to non-existent engineering problems but rather,  engineering is practicing the art of organised enforcement of technological change and creating something new and extraordinary.


Engineers, who are the harbinger of development
of any country, always strive for enrichment of their knowledge and skill to upgrade the quality and standard
of life.engineers have to work
from construction of rural roads to manufacturing of spaceships to Mars. Both are equally
important for accelerating the development of the country. There is no end to development and engineering progress. The process of betterment and upgradation from one standard
to the other, from ‘under-developed’ to ‘developing’, or from ‘developing’ to ‘developed’, is a
continuous process, which is led by the engineers after taking into account the prevailing sociopolitico-
economic conditions of the particular country.

so, hereby, on this 147th glorious occasion of our country, we celebrate the art of engineering and its disciples. we are proud to be engineers and hope to raise the bar and take the existing technology to a whole new level.
