It was an another eventful day in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information
Technology, Gwalior as the college inched closer to launch of its much anticipated Year book
“Arunoday”. Distinguished guest “Mr. D.K. Jain” was the chief guest of the launching ceremony.
The director of the institute, Prof. S.G. Deshmukh and other teachers dignified the sitting.
The proceedings began at 2:00 pm in the very ABV-IIITM way, planting trees. The hosts took over the
proceedings at about 2:30 pm and introduced the guests to the already waiting audience
constituted of students. The chief guest was wished by the director of institute with a bouquet.
Then the much awaited occasion finally arrived when the guests stepped up on the stage to
launch the book. Following it we had the chief Editor of the book Dr. Anurag Srivastava telling the
college about the incidents involved in making the book. He really told some inspiring incidents.
The director of Institution Prof. S.G Deshmukh then threw some light on the book and its
relevance over the student’s daily life. We also had the chief guest speaking about the college
and its atmosphere.
In the end a renowned faculty member of the college Dr. Ajay Kumar delivered the thanking
speech and thus ended the ceremony.
